Heat claims lives of 4 passengers on Kerala Express

They were travelling from the Agra Cantonment Railway Station to Coimbatore.

Four people from Coimbatore aboard Train No. 12626 Kerala Express died on Tuesday in Jhansi, allegedly due to high temperature. They were travelling from the Agra Cantonment Railway Station to Coimbatore.
A release from the Jhansi Division Public Relations Officer (PRO) said three of them died inside the train and one in the Civil Hospital.
They have been identified as Balakrishnan (67), Pachaiappan (80), Deivanai (74) and Subbaraiyya.
The PRO confirmed that it was Subbaraiyya who died in the hospital. The PRO told media that the bodies would be returned to their hometown by Tuesday evening. The post-mortem reports were not yet ready. The PRO urged passengers to consume adequate water and contact railway staff in case of any inconvenience.
The release said Pachaiappan and Balakrishnan were in the S-8 coach while Deivanai was in S-9.
