On Sunday, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated a new unit at the Korwa ordnance factory to manufacture advanced AK 203 assault rifles

Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being a ‘habitual liar’ and asserted that the Korwa ordnance factory, which Mr. Modi visited on March 3 to inaugurate a new manufacturing unit for AK-203 assault rifles, had been producing small arms for a while.
“Mr. Prime Minister, the foundation of Amethi’s ordnance factory was done by me in 2010. For the past several years, it has been producing small firearms,” Mr. Gandhi said on Twitter.
“You went to Amethi yesterday and once again lied as you are compelled by habit. Don’t you feel ashamed at all?”asked the Congress chief.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated a new unit at the Korwa ordnance factory to manufacture advanced AK-203 assault rifles and alleged that the UPA had compromised national security.
“The previous government could not even decide what kind of weapon would be produced. Even construction of the building didn’t start until late 2013 when Lok Sabha elections were almost there,” Mr. Modi had said after inaugurating the new unit.
