Dharwad building collapse: After four days under debris, man walks out alive

Three people were rescued from the debris on Friday.

At a time when the rescue team was losing hope of survivors, a youth who was under the debris for four days, came out alive on Friday.
Much to the surprise of the rescue team, Sangamesh Ramanagoudar (24) walked to the ambulance on his own. He was rushed to the hospital immediately. The survivor was working as an attender at a party office in Dharwad.

Sangamesh has reportedly told the rescue team that two more persons are alive were under the debris.
The rescue team, which was reportedly planning to begin excavation has dropped the idea and resumed its earlier methods to search for survivors.
A couple named Dileep and Sangeeta were also rescued from the site.
Meanwhile according to the official sources the death toll has risen to 13, with another body being recovered on Thursday night.
